ASCO recently signed up for a group insurance policy for all members.
The Executive Council notices untimely incidents among members. The immediate response to support is often a challenge, as funding for such circumstances is not sufficient. So by tradition, the members are opted to solicit in monetary or in kind to help our members to lessen its financial inconvenience. However, the Executive Council has approved a package of financial support in the event of death from the organization’s coffers.
The insurance policy has been introduced to members, and a board resolution has been submitted. A one-year Premium PAMILYA ProtekTodo 100 from Palawan Insurance in the amount of 100 pesos has been agreed upon, and at least 32 people have enrolled in this group insurance policy. However, all members are encourage to obtain individual insurance of their own choosing or to coordinate with Brod Michael Nortiza regarding group insurance policy membership.
Palawan Insurance has been chosen as the provider for the first batch of the year. The specifics of the insurance coverage are available on the Palawan website.
So, in addition to the insurance policy, the solicitation among members can still be exercised, in which members voluntary share in any amount with affected members.
